October 7th-11th


Homeroom- This week for homeroom i learned about Ann Frank. Ann and her family where jews during hitler reign as leader. Soon after hitler took over the government he invaded her town and was imprisoning her people. Luckily enough Ann and her family where able to hide out in a secret house behind a restaurant. The house she was staying in was small and there was other families hiding in the house with her family. There was only one bathroom and someone was always waiting to get in. Some people in the restaurant helped them and constantly by giving them food and other thing they will need. The only way that we know about Ann and her life is because she spent most of her time in that house writing in a journal. Ann and the other families were soon discovered by the nazis and ann was taken to a concentration camp. SHe soon died of the flew. One of the people that helped them. Soon found her journal and it was published and became book called "The diary of a young girl" now The book is sold in hundreds of languages for people to read. THat is what i learned about is homeroom this week.

Math-  For math this week i have been doing problems that include interest and loans. I learned that if someone wants something that they cant afford they take in a loan. In my problems it will look something like this, Billy bought a new car for $30,000. His down payment was $3000 dollars. In total he end up paying $35000. How much money was his interest? That is what i learned about foe math this week.

L.A-  For L.A this week i the last lesson on grammaropolis. On grammar opolise i did a review. In that review i re-earned about subject and predicate, declarative sentences, exclamatory sentences, And interrogative sentences. A declarative sentence is a sentence That ends with a period. A exclamatory sentence is a sentence that ends with a exclamation point. Lastly, a interrogative sentence is a sentence that ends with a question mark.

Science- For science this week i read a book about the ocean. In the at bookit talked about why the ocean is salty. I learned that the ocean is salty because rivers and lakes that go into the ocean pick up minerals and it flows down the river into the ocean. That is why the ocean i salty.

drone videography- for my next assignment me and my brother are working on a video that  explains the rules of flying your drone. For example one of the rules is to never fly you drone next to people, cars, or houses. In the video that my brother and i are doing we are doing what not to do. So for that rule i crashed my drone into our house.

Music-  For lesson 2 of my drum class i learned about the single stroke rule. What that means is when you hit one of the pads one time. Like if you needed to hit a pad 4 times that would be 4 strokes. I also learned a new beat. It's kind of hard to explain but it includes 4 strokes on each pad. Which is called i drum fill. That is what i learned about for music this week.
